![]() Negative comments are: I guess they want the entire bar to be considered a dark room but you can barely see the cash you’re giving the bartender it’s so dark floor in back room is bumpy so be careful only open Wednesday through Sunday. ![]() If you want a night of debauchery in an old school dive bar, this checks all the boxes. Seriously, it seems like anything goes but I’ll omit details. Frat boys, daddies, muscle boys, bears, you name it. The downstairs wasn’t open (told open only on Friday and Saturday nights) so it got quite crowded after midnight with a very mixed crowd of barely legal to older guys and everything in between. By midnight a couple more dancers started, in various states of undress… and less as the night went on. The first dancer started around 11 and it was getting busier. I apparently went a bit too early on a Thursday night, shortly after it opened at 10 PM. Drinks are very reasonable, especially for NYC. Don’t expect to sip a martini while sitting at a polished mahogany bar but do expect to see wood discretely or very obviously displayed by patrons and dancers.
